1. Introduction
GainsCoach (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the GainsCoach mobile application (“App”). Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
- Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Athlete profile: Age, height, current weight, target weight, sport, position, and training goals.
- Food and nutrition logs: Food entries, meal descriptions, and photos you submit for AI analysis.
- Hydration logs: Water and caloric drink intake you track in the App.
- Weight check-ins: Body weight entries you log over time.
- Photos: Images of food, meals, or your kitchen/pantry submitted for AI-powered analysis. These are processed in real time and are not permanently stored as raw images.
- Usage data: Features you interact with, session duration, and in-app activity.
- Device information: Device type, operating system version, and app version.
- Purchase information: Subscription and transaction status through Apple’s StoreKit. We do not store your full payment details — all payment processing is handled by Apple.
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and athlete profile
- Calculate your personalized calorie and macronutrient targets (TDEE-based)
- Analyze food and kitchen photos using AI to provide nutritional estimates and meal recommendations
- Generate personalized daily coaching messages from Coach Gains
- Provide nearby restaurant suggestions based on your location (when permission is granted)
- Track your weight progress, hydration, and XP/achievement milestones
- Deliver team leaderboard features and social comparisons
- Process and manage your subscription through Apple In-App Purchases
- Send push notifications for daily coaching reminders and challenges (with your permission)
- Improve and optimize the App’s features and performance
4. Artificial Intelligence and Photo Analysis
GainsCoach uses AI technology powered by Anthropic’s Claude API to analyze food photos, kitchen/pantry images, and generate personalized coaching content. When you submit a photo:
- The image is sent securely to our backend for AI analysis
- Nutritional estimates are generated and returned to you
- Raw image data is not retained after analysis is complete
- AI-generated nutritional estimates are approximations and should not be used as medical or clinical dietary guidance
GainsCoach may request access to your device’s location to suggest nearby restaurants as part of the “Close the Gap” meal recommendation feature. Location data is:
- Only accessed when you actively use the restaurant suggestion feature
- Used to query nearby food options via Apple Maps and related services
- Not stored or tracked continuously in the background
You can revoke location permission at any time in your device Settings.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: We use Supabase (database and backend infrastructure) and Anthropic (AI processing) to operate the App. These providers process your data only as necessary to deliver our service and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Apple: Subscription and purchase information is processed by Apple pursuant to Apple’s own Privacy Policy.
- Team features: If you join or create a team within the App, your display name, XP, and leaderboard data will be visible to other members of that team.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
- Business transfers: If GainsCoach is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
7. Children’s Privacy
GainsCoach is intended for users who are 9 years of age and older, consistent with our App Store rating.
For users under 13: We encourage parents and guardians to supervise their child’s use of the App. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe your child under 13 has provided personal information without your consent, please contact us at info@elitefootball.net and we will promptly delete that information.
For users under 18: We recommend that parents review this Privacy Policy and the App’s features. The App is designed for athlete performance nutrition and does not promote unsafe dietary practices.
8. Health and Nutrition Data
The nutritional and caloric information provided by GainsCoach — including TDEE calculations, macro targets, and AI-estimated food data — is intended for general athletic performance purposes only. This information is:
- Not a substitute for advice from a licensed dietitian, nutritionist, or healthcare provider
- Based on general formulas and AI estimates which may not be accurate for every individual
- Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition
If you have specific dietary needs, health conditions, or concerns about weight gain, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at info@elitefootball.net. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
10. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) policies ensuring each user can only access their own data, and secure API key management. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data
- Opt out of notifications: Disable push notifications at any time in your device Settings
- Revoke location access: Disable location permissions at any time in your device Settings

12. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
